2405 Poplar Springs Drive
This house was built by Mark R. Grant. It is also in the Tudor style of architecture. Grant and J. H. Wright were the main developers of the Marion Park Subdivision. The house still has a bowling alley in the basement and was originally designed to have a pipe organ. Supposedly, the Grant family lived in a small building on the property while their home was being built. The smaller building would later become the garage, with servant’s quarters upstairs. At one point, the house was called “The Knoll”.
